22nd July (Tuesday) - POWER IN PRAISE.
One of our home groups presents an evening of praise for the residents of Cranhill Nursing Home.
23rd July (Wednesday) - OPEN DOORS PRAYER.
A prayer meeting at Helen's to pray for the persecuted church, starting at 10.30am.
23rd July (Wednesday) - LUNCHTIME PRAYER.
A weekly prayer meeting at St Swithin's, 12noon - 1pm.
24th July (Thursday) - PRAYER VISION GROUP.
A monthly prayer meeting at 10.30am for the way ahead for our church. THIS IS OPEN TO ALL WITH CONCERNS FOR THE FUTURE OF WALCOT. Contact Mary Warne for venue.
26th July (Saturday) - CHURCH WALK.
This walk has been cancelled.
27th July (Sunday) - SERMON TOPIC.
Both morning services will be looking at 'Hallowed be your name - Reverent worshippers', Matthew 6:9, and Romans 12:1-2.
Our evening service is Evening Prayer, and a study on James 1:19-27, and 2:14-26, at 6.30pm.
30th July (Wednesday) - LUNCHTIME PRAYER.
A weekly prayer meeting at St Swithin's, 12noon - 1pm.
3rd August (Sunday) - SERMON TOPIC.
Both morning services will be looking at 'Your kingdom, Your will - loyal citizens', Matthew 6:10, and Revelation 21:1-8.
Our evening service is Evening Prayer, and a study on James 1:19-27, and 2:14-26, at 6.30pm.
5th August (Tuesday) - FUN CLUB.
This is our second 'Garden Party,' this month at the home of Peter and Isobel at 2.30pm.
10th August (Sunday) - SPECIAL WEDDING.
Two members of our church are getting married at 1pm.
Owing to this there is to be only one morning service at 10.15am, as the whole congregation is invited to attend at 1pm.
13th August (Wednesday) - CMJ PRAYER MEETING.
This takes place at the home of Eric and is open to anyone wishing to pray for CMJ and Israel.

CHURCH OPENING
- The Parish Church St Swithin's is now open for casual visitors to veiw on wednesdays between 11am and 3pm.
- On other occassions special arrangements can be made via the Church Office. (01225- 789168).
FUN CLUB 2008. First Tuesdays.
- August 5th - Garden Party at Isobel's home, 2.30pm.
- September 2nd - Supper Party at Walcot Court.
- October 7th - Harvest lunch at the Gateway, 12.30pm.
- November 4th - Garden talk with tea from 2pm.
- December 9th - Christmas lunch.
- January 6th 2009 - New Year party at 2pm.
- February 3rd 2009 - AGM with tea at 2pm..
