Mission Partners

Church Mission Society	Japan	CMS is a mission agency working in partnership with churches in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
Wycliffe Bible Translators	Cameroon	By 2025, together with partners worldwide, Wycliffe aims to see a Bible translation programme begun in all the remaining languages that need one.
Mission Aviation Fellowship	East Africa	MAF is a team of aviation and communication specialists conquering barriers in support of more than 300 Christian and humanitarian organizations around the world.
Crosslinks	Ethiopia	Crosslinks is a mission agency working mainly within the Anglican Community. Crosslinks activities today can be summarised as taking "God’s Word to God’s World".
Arab World Ministries	North Africa
Overseas Missionary Fellowship	SE Asia	Through God's grace OMF aim to see an indigenous, biblical church planting movement in each people group of East Asia.
CMJ	Israel	The Church's Ministry among the Jewish People is a family and a team of believers, Jewish and non-Jewish, called by God to ministry among, and on behalf of, Jewish people. God said in Genesis 12: 3 "I will bless those who bless you". This blessing is to those who bless Israel.
Genesis Trust	Bath	Genesis Trust supports homeless or recently housed people on the margins of society in Bath to help them rebuild their lives.
Tearfund	Worldwide	Tearfund is an evangelical Christian relief and development charity working in partnership to bring help and hope to communities in need around the world.

You can be involved with the mission life of Walcot Church through the following ways:

Sign up for one of the Mission Society magazines.
Sign up for one of our Mission Partners' letters.
Make contact with one of our Mission Partners.
Browse the Mission Notice Board in your Church Centre.
Come along to one of the bi-monthly Mission Prayer times.
Support Missions financially.
Join a short-term mission programme.

Giving

Walcot Church is currently giving one tenth of its income to Missions. in addition to this, many church members give individually. Individuals may support their chosen Mission Partners and Societies by sending their contributions direct. Contact details for each Society may be found by following the links above.

Prayer

A different mission society is featured each week in the printed service sheets and we encourage those leading the prayers to pray for them during the services. Homegroups are encouraged to adopt a mission partner and pray for them regularly, assisted by regular prayer letters and individual contact when possible. If you would like to receive one of the regular prayer letters from overseas, please ask the appropriate Walcot representative.
